Peter Weed Architect is an architecture and owner’s representative consultancy founded in 2010 to assist residential and retail clients in realizing complex, carefully designed buildings and interiors in landmarked districts in major cities in North America. We are equally comfortable working with talented designers, sorting through complicated structural modifications, or managing project consultant teams, budgets and schedules. We are agile, resourceful, and effective in managing on-time delivery of projects, but our strength is doing this all with eyes for and sensitivity to careful, beautiful design.
Peter Weed has over 20 years of experience as an architect in New York City, Nationally in the US, and in Canada. Peter is experienced in Retail and Residential Design and Construction Project Management. Prior to starting Peter Weed Architect, he was the Director of Environmental Design at Cole Haan from 2008-2011. Before that he was at the New York City Architecture and Interior Design firm of Janson Goldstein LLP from 1998-2008 where he last held the position of Vice-President. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Peter lives in Garrison, New York with his wife Celia Barbour and their three children.
